Backstory: Hastacarcharus wasn't originally a sea creature. Gojira laid a giant egg holding almost every natural kaiju on Earth 4.4 billion years ago (BYA). When it hatched, the baby Hastacarcharus looked more like a large mutated newt-shark than a kaiju version of a real shark. Then, 0.6 years later (3.8 million years ago), the oceans appeared. Many kaiju evolved in seconds using their alchemy, when they noticed that they're designed for water life more than land life. These kaiju included Wobblegongedon, hastacarcharus, ect. becoming the Earth's first aqua class kaiju, but even more water- kaiju kaiju were born after that!
